I think I had the best V-day ever. My little brother Tyson lives in Driggs Idaho and is a snowmobiling guide for
Teton Valley Adventures He is a breath of fresh air and it was so nice to get to spend time with him. We stayed at his beatiful cabin and it was good to spend time with him and his "finance" Brandy. We arrived on Friday night and met at the snowmobile place to get our suits, boots and helmets. We then headed back to their cabin where Brandy had dinner all ready. It was so good!!!. Saturday we woke up and Tyson fixed us an awesome breakfast, and then we got ready to go. The drive to get unloaded and go was just about an hour from Driggs. It was a nice day, a little overcast and light snow, every once and awhile the sun would peak out. We rode the Mesa Falls tour and it was awesome we went through Island Park and the scenery was gorgeous, I apologize for so many nature shots but that is what I love.
The ride was simply amazing. I wish we could have stayed for days.
Thanks Tyson and Brandy for letting us come and stay, and for taking us out on the ride. It was awesome!!!
ps..sorry for so many pics
Tyson, and as you can see we totally took over his house with all our bags and clothes
This is the kitchen and I loved the green they painted
Tyson and Brandy, the latter behind them goes up to the loft where their bed and closet is.
Josh hates this picture I think its funny, these are just his thermals and under armour he had on underneath his snow suit, and you gotta love his boots...he is a hotty and he's all mine!!
Tyson and Brandy, we are unloaded and ready to go, almost!
Tyson and Brandy rode on the "cadillac" its the two seater and that is what Tyson kept calling it.
Josh is dang near ready
Poor Josh always has to help his wife, I couldn't get those dang straps to work.
This is the Lower Mesa Falls, someone actually went down it in a kayak (crazy)
At the falls
This is the sign for the upper Mesa Falls
The mountain has some crazy formations because of the mist that comes off the waterfall
top of the upper Mesa Falls
And here it is, the tallest waterfall in Idaho
See that little cabin, you can rent that from the forest service for 50.00 a night and it sleeps 32 people, everyone get ready I might check into this for a family trip :)
