This weekend was the ScrapBook USA Expo down in Salt Lake. This is a ritual for my sister and I to spend some time together. We have always taken the Friday off work and headed down and then stay the night and scrap all day Saturday. This time we weren't so lucky to stay overnight and even take the day off. We headed down to Salt Lake about 3:30 and then scrapped until it closed at midnight and then headed back home.
We always have a group of friends we meet down there. We always have so much fun with these gals, they are a lot of fun and the conversations can be really interesting.

This is as close to meeting a famous person as I will ever get. Casey Scott Newscaster from KUTV channel 2 news, he is just like he is on the news, so sweet, and so very nice.
She was up and ready to do the chicken dance...Check out all that junk food!

that looks like you guys had a great time. i never new that it could be so great. i thought you just go down for ideas, but didnt know you could stay and scrap! how neat is that. what a great tradition for you and kandi. ohh and casey, i use to watch him every morning at 7:00am while i was puming before work (i know, too much info.) but now that i don't nurse anymore, i didnt realize how scruffy casey has gotten. but he does seem way nice. good for you to see him.
